# Why can't I send a confirmation email?

### Introduction

Sending confirmation emails is a key feature of Yoplanning, allowing you to automatically notify customers after a booking. However, if you're using the platform during a trial period, you may find this option disabled. Find out why and how to fix this.

### Restrictions related to the trial period

#### **Why is email sending blocked?**

When using **Yoplanning in trial version**, sending automatic and manual emails is disabled. This restriction is intended to ensure the **security of the platform** and prevent fraudulent use of the system.

#### **How do I enable email sending?**

* **Upgrade to a paid plan**: To benefit from all features, including sending emails, we recommend subscribing to a paid plan.
* **Request activation**: If you have a specific need during the trial period, you can contact our **support** by email. After verifying your request and depending on the current security criteria, this feature may be temporarily activated.

### Conclusion

For security reasons, sending confirmation emails is blocked during the trial period. To access them, you can upgrade to a paid version or contact support for special activation. This measure ensures a secure environment for all Yoplanning users.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.yoplanning.support/en/faq/faq-generale/pourquoi-ne-puis-je-pas-envoyer-de-mail-de-confirmation.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
